Welcome onboard !
Slide Sail in Asia is an accredited sailing school for new sailors offering the Zero to Hero course certified with the International Bareboat Skipper License.
The full course takes 12 days and is given onboard our 43 foot Bénéteau Océanis, sailing across the Philippines Islands.
We also offer private charter for day trips or multi days cruise around Palawan, please check out our "Cruises" section for more details.
LiveAboard Sailing School
With a maximum of 2 students at a time, everyone will enjoy a private cabin and will get a unique opportunity to experience daily life on a sailing yacht around Palawan.
During the 12 day course, you will sleep, eat, and live on the boat, gaining experience not just with sailing, but with managing life on the water.
Make sailing fun
We know that immersing yourself in sailing can firstly be intimidating sometimes. That's why we teach sailing in a way that is approachable, encouraging and supportive. By making complex sailing concepts easy to understand, this course will teach you all the knowledge you need to handle a sailboat by your own, smoothly. Once you get the basics, it's all about practice and getting a feel for how the boat moves with the wind. Just basic fun !
Sailing in Palawan
What an amazing place to learn how to sail, with its stunning coastline, crystal-clear waters, and hundreds of islands to explore. We will use the friendly Amihan Northeast Monsoon to practice all the sail lessons and we will travel in some fantastic Philippines remote spots all along the course itinerary.
